TALKS

Talk anywhere.
Finish in Handled.

Some work needs a conversation first. Start a small talk with the people you choose, about one thing. When you’re done, Handled turns it into decisions people can find and tasks with owners.

Every talk ends with owners.

  1. 01

    Talk it through.

Invite 2 to 15 people from your company. Share files, react, fix a typo. An edited message says “edited”.

Only the people in a talk can read it. Someone added later reads from the moment they join.

A talk called Spring launch. Sara, Aleks and Maria agree on new prices and a launch date.
  2. 02

    Wrap it up.

Press Wrap up when something is agreed. AI reads the talk only then, and drafts the decisions and tasks from what was said. One person writes the wrap-up. Everyone else in the talk can agree.

For each decision: who should be able to look this up? Everyone in your company, filed under a subject. Only the people in the talk. Or not a decision. Saving it for everyone needs someone else in the talk to agree.

The Wrap up review. The decision to raise Pro to 89 is set to Everyone in Studio Nord, filed under Pricing, agreed by Sara, with a preview of how it will appear.
  3. 03

    Work finds its owner.

Every task gets a person. You do it, you ask someone in the talk, or it goes to whoever owns the subject. Press Finish and each task travels the map to its place.

Private to-dos stay private. Nobody else sees them, not even in the talk.

Preparing the routes. Draft the March price list goes to Pricing, Sara Lind. Two more tasks are finding where they belong. The subject map after Finish. Pricing, App and Design glow. A card says All 3 tasks have a place.
  4. 04

    Nothing left open.

The talk keeps a short record of what was decided and what came out of it. When every task is done, it says so.

A talk with nothing new goes quiet after 7 days and closes after 30. Anyone in it can pick it up again.

A finished talk with its summary and three completed tasks. A green seal says Everything from this talk is done, 3 tasks completed.

GOOD QUESTIONS

A little more
clarity.

Isn’t this just Slack?

No. There is nothing to browse and nothing to keep up with. A talk is small, invite-only and about one thing. It ends with a wrap-up: decisions filed where people can find them, and tasks with owners. Everyday requests don’t need a talk at all. You write them and Handled finds the owner.

Will my team talk all day?

We hope not. Talks are for working something out. A dot shows who has Handled open. Nobody can see who is typing or who has read a message. Anyone can mute a talk. A talk with nothing new goes quiet after 7 days and closes after 30. Requests still arrive in your delivery windows.

So now I pick recipients?

You pick who to talk with. Work still goes to the subject’s owner. When a talk ends, each task goes to you, to someone in the talk who accepts it, or to whoever owns the subject. Requests you write still find their owner without you choosing anyone.

Who sees what in a talk?

Only the people in it. Company admins get no access from their role. Someone added later reads from the moment they joined; earlier messages stay private unless someone shares a summary with them. Tasks and decisions that leave a talk keep their own visibility. Private to-dos are seen only by the person they’re for.

Does AI read everything?

No. AI reads a talk only when someone presses Wrap up, Finish or Make task, and only the messages everyone in the talk can read. It drafts. A person approves. Private to-dos are never shown to it. If your company turns AI matching off, you write the wrap-up yourself.
