How a brainstorm works

  1. 01

    The map draws itself.

    Start from one question and invite 2 to 15 people from your company. As people write, the AI sorts what is said into themes, ideas, open questions, and points for and against.

    Every idea links back to the messages it came from. Click one and they light up in the conversation.

  2. 02

    Ask AI, in front of everyone.

    Press Ask AI and your question is posted as your own message. The answer appears for everyone in the brainstorm, labelled with who asked, and shows the messages it used.

    If something wasn’t discussed, it says so. It never posts unasked and never notifies anyone.

    Star what matters.

    Anyone can star an idea. Everyone in the brainstorm sees the stars, never a count. Ideas the group agrees on are marked ready to decide.

    When the brainstorm moves on, the map grows with it instead of starting over.

    Decide. Every task gets an owner.

    Press Decide. The AI drafts decisions and tasks from the starred ideas and the ideas ready to decide. A person checks them and approves.

    For each decision, you choose who should be able to look it up. Finish sends each task across your subject map to its owner. The brainstorm stays as a read-only record.

It reads

  • Only this brainstorm’s messages.
  • Only what every current member can read. When someone joins or leaves, the map is drawn again from what everyone can read.

It never reads

  • Other talks, other brainstorms, requests or your subjects’ work.
  • The web.

And it never

  • Posts unasked or notifies anyone.
  • Counts as agreement. Its answers are suggestions. People decide.

If your company turns AI off, or the month’s AI allowance is used up, the map stays as it is and you keep writing.

How is a brainstorm different from a talk?

In a talk, people talk and AI reads nothing until someone presses Wrap up. In a brainstorm, you meet with the AI on purpose: it maps the ideas as you go and answers when someone asks. Both end the same way, with decisions and tasks that have owners.

Who can join a brainstorm?

2 to 15 people from your company, chosen by whoever starts it. Someone added later reads from the moment they join, and the map is drawn again from what everyone can read.

Can the AI decide for us?

No. Its answers are suggestions and never count as agreement. People approve every decision and every task before anything leaves the brainstorm.

Does it cost extra?

No. Brainstorm is included in the price. AI use has a monthly allowance. If it runs out, the map stays as it is and you can keep writing.
